Hello! I've know about the engine for some time now but haven't dove in. It's getting to the point in my project's development where I need to create a map! Is it possible to create a cube based map to fit the theme of my project?

Looks good but I need actual terrain. Lets say i make a map with the editor, I was informed Id be able to just flip a switch and the model would turn into voxels/blocks?

The terrain is smooth at the moment. There is no switch to make it cube-like. Anyone with a PRO license could do this with a simple change in the code, however. This is how the terrain in the first video was produced (mark 0:52s)

Oh, so I wouldn't be able to produce blocky terrain without a $1k license?

If you want to use the standard terrain components, you will need the PRO license to add the blocky effect.

You can produce your own blocky terrain with the INDIE license, in this case, you would be outputting terrain voxels by using custom code.

Ah. If you could ball park it, how much code would be required to change the terrain to be blocky with INDIE? Otherwise would it just be easier to get PRO and change like a few values I'm assuming.

It largely depends on what type of terrain features you want. If you want a simple noise/function based terrain, it can be quite simple. This Voxel Studio extension tutorial produces a terrain function using sin(x) in a few lines of code:

Alright, seems promising but I just need to create a static map. It doesn't need to be randomly generated on load up or etc. In all simplicity, I'm looking to create a map like dayz but in a cube like theme like this: http://prntscr.com/eu2bvl

I already have trees created, houses and everything. I just need a way to generate terrain as if I was using a brush or elevate tool in the cube state.
