i found the property of each item to long. My suggestion is to create interface for create easly the data texture.

When we clic the materials menu, popup of Windows where we can registered or selected or drag with the mouse, the source of texture. Give a name and automaticely refresh render.exe after the creation.

Diffuse is the main source of the texture/materials. could be between, 1x1 to 4096x4096 (not tested more) in bmp or png files (tga too and probaly other extension).
The rest is not an obligation,it's given more sense of your creation and quality of texture/material. but can be automaticly completed by a default setting.
UV, Blend and other setting can be locked or not.

Having dds format available with all its range of compressions would be awesome, from dxt1 to dxt5.
