This is a little tutorial I wrote on extending the plugins functionality to have a 'break' event where after a StampBlock removal is executed AVoxelFarmWorldActor emits an event that contains information about the location and the number and types of voxels that were removed in that edit. This is a relatively limited solution, but it should be more obvious how to accomplish the general purpose case of calculating the difference between pre and post edit cell material counts. The cube solution is nice because it only requires you to count the voxels in a region once at the expense of not being able to handle not box shapes.
