I was excited to see the new changes to VoxelFarm and just got the new version running.
What I noticed was the addition of GI variables. Excitedly I started updating the shaders, and noticed that there is a lot of shader code that isn't actually used?

As to not distribute information that I'm not allowed to, I'm talking about the cell render fragment shader, lines
513-515, 518-561, 600-650, as well as some calculations in lines 1009-1020.

Is there any reason why these calculations are performed but not used? If so, is there any way to use them as to improve the graphics?

While the variables are there in the code, they are not populated by the engine. The shader code is commented out.
