I use currently Unity 2018.2.14f1 and have several projects that use good enough terrains (regarding overall structure). Is it possible to create a Voxelfarm terrain by using the Unity terrain meshes instead of a heightmap?
If yes, where can I find a doc how to proceed?

The terrain system in Unity is heightmap-based, it is not clear what you mean by "Unity terrain meshes".

You could export the terrain heightmap from Unity and use this heightmap as the base for a new terrain in Voxel Farm. At this point, you would be setting up the terrain as usual. Thank you for your answer. Yes, I managed to export a Unity terrain as heightmap (Raw file, Greyscale, 16bit) and have verified it with a Unity asset (Ultimate Terrain) to use for a generated voxel terrain. I will try to verify if VoxelFarm will also accept that heightmap as a base for further processing inside the VoxelEditor.
